Should there be a listing for Scientology in there somewhere?

There is some debate over Scientology's status as a religion; some feel that it was so designated only to take advantage of favorable US tax code treatment. Alas, there is no bright line as to what constitutes a religion. The mere inclusion of it in the Religion index could be interpreted as representing the opinion that it is a religion. FWIW, I don't think it's a big deal one way or the other. IPU is on the religion page, and I don't think that's a real religion either.

[edit] Lots of articles in R&P need attention

There are about a half-dozen articles in the Religion and Philosophy index that have the R&P template, but almost no further content. These include:

I'd write all the articles myself, but I haven't the time nor much at all to say about them. --Yahweh 03:11, 9 November 2005 (GMT)

[edit] R&P Template is missing

The text at the top of the R&P Index reads:

If you want to add a new definition to this list, then please copy the R&P Template to your new page first.

However, R&P Template doesnt redirect to any existent page. Its a dead link. Someone should fix it *points at Diamond*. --Yahweh\! 06:58, 26 November 2005 (GMT)

[edit] Einstein --- lost article

I thought we had an article on "Einstein was a Theist". In fact, I thought I read it last night. Today I went and found some nice quotes to put in it, and now we don't seem to have one. Or I can't find it.

  • feels confused *

Is there such an article? Was there one? It ought to be in Theist Arguments, next to "Hitler Was An Atheist" ... but it isn't.

The only place where that myth is debunked is here: Atheism: Atheists think they know everything. --Yahweh 20:35, 26 November 2005 (GMT)

[edit] Communism et al

Would this be the right place for an article about the whole issue of communism, socialism, Karl Marx, and so on and so forth? The economics behind why capitalism is doomed to fail is clearly woo, as are the ideas why communism should work at least as well as capitalism (still) does. At any rate, I´m not sure such an article wouldn´t fit better into another category, such as Frauds and Scams, or Science and Pseudoscience (assuming Economics is considered a "real" science). If all else fails, maybe include Marx with the "purveyors of questionable theories" in the People category?
